The Graduate Tax Program’s online option affords active practitioners a flexible way to earn BU Law’s highly ranked LLM in Taxation degree. Ideal for lawyers whose jobs preclude them from attending BU’s residential program in Boston, the program’s format allows students to begin their course of study in any of three sessions — fall, spring, or summer — and enroll in a variety of specialized tax courses. Students can complete the 24 credits required for the LLM in Taxation degree on a full-time or part-time basis. Full-time students complete the degree in two sessions, while part-time students may complete the degree in as few as four consecutive sessions or over the course of four years, depending on the demands of their schedules.
