The one-year Bucerius Master of Law and Business prepares young professionals for international careers in which an understanding of both legal and business concepts as well as intercultural skills are essential. The interdisciplinary approach of the program brings lawyers and business professionals from all over the world together in one classroom. It thereby creates a unique learning environment which stimulates knowledge transfer and inspires the exchange of perspectives between disciplines and across cultures. NEW: as of September 2020 Bucerius Law School and the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management combine their expertise with an academic partnership. It will operate under the name "Bucerius Law School Master of Law and Business in co-operation with WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management".

This European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) programme offers the unique opportunity for interdisciplinary studies of law and economics at two or even three European and Non-European universities. There will be a joint LL.M. degree awarded from the Universities in Hamburg, Ghent and Rotterdam and all other partner universities will award an additional Master degree (LL.M. / M.A. / M.Sc.).

The Master's Program in Business Law with international aspects is designed for students who already have an initial academic degree. The Master Distance is designed as a "blended learning" concept and provides a balanced combination of the study elements: "Editing the study books", "interactive studying in the virtual auditorium" (from home), some presence lectures on site at one of the nationwide study centers and of laying of tests in a close to home study center.
