The LLM in Transnational Business Practice trains lawyers to practice in the field of international business law. The degree further prepares lawyers for a career in the global economy.

The LLM in U.S. Law program is designed for attorneys and law school graduates educated outside of the United States. Candidates for the LLM in  U.S. Law are enrolled in two required courses, Intro to U.S. Law and Legal Writing and Research. Other courses are electives and may be taken in any area of law. Students have the option of pursuing a Concentration in one of six popular areas of law.

All candidates for the LLM degree must complete a total of 24 credit hours, including course work that satisfies the written work requirement.

The LL.M. curriculum provides lawyers trained abroad with the knowledge needed to master U.S. legal discourse and to enhance their skills for practice in their home countries. Our LL.M. program further meets the requirements to sit for the New York State Bar Exam.
