UNITAR is delighted to offer the Master’s Programme in Public International Law (Master of Laws (LL.M.)., in cooperation with Sigmund Freud University Vienna (SFU). This new graduate programme will combine SFU's academic strength with UNITAR´s practical focus and will be implemented on-campus in Vienna, or online, for one year.

The curriculum of the Master of Laws in Comparative Constitutional Law covers issues concerning the development and operation of constitutional government in its broader political, social, historical, regional, and international context. The core curriculum centers on fundamental issues in comparative constitutional law regarding constitution-making and constitutional design, constitutional government (horizontal and vertical separation of powers), and constitutional rights protection in leading, emerging, and declining constitutional democracies around the world.

The LL.M. in Global Business Law and Regulation offers advanced legal education in the field of global business law. As a professional program, it targets young legal professionals and caters to their needs for a practice-oriented legal education. It offers participants the opportunity to specialize in one of four areas: (1) international dispute resolution, (2) international economic and commercial Law, (3) corporate law, and (4) regulation and corporate social responsibility.

Five institutions organize the LL.M. in Transnational Commercial Practice. The Center for International Legal Studies (Salzburg, Austria) has more than 5,000 lawyer members throughout the world. The Law Faculty of Lazarski University (Warsaw, Poland) has ranked first among Polish university law faculties for the last seven years. Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest, Hungary), founded in 1635, ranks as the leading law faculty in Hungary. The Center for Financial Law and Policy at Lixin University is based in Shanghai, China, Boston University School of Law (Boston, Massachusetts) was established in 1872 and ranks in the top 25 of more than 200 law schools accredited by the American Bar Association.

This European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) programme offers the unique opportunity for interdisciplinary studies of law and economics at two or even three European and Non-European universities. Each partner university awards a Master degree (LL.M. / M.A. / M.Sc.).
