Our Law degree provides a grounding for a career in law by focusing on the academic and professional foundations for sitting the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) 1 and 2 and the Bar Training Course. The course covers necessary legal subjects referred to in the professional bodies’ qualifying regulations as the Foundations of Legal Knowledge and the SQE1 Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK) subject areas.

Alongside studying the foundation subjects of law such as contract law, public law and the law of trusts it offers the flexibility to tailor your study according to whether you wish to gain a law degree as an academic degree, need a Qualifying Law Degree to become a barrister in England and Wales, progress to take Part 1 of the national Solicitors Qualifying Examination, or become a solicitor or barrister in Northern Ireland.

This is the only 100% online and part-time LLB (Hons) Law, with no requirement to travel to assessment centres or complete timed examinations. It is a qualifying law degree (QLD) recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and a great first step to progress to the professional training stage to qualify as a legal professional. This academically rigorous SQE focused LLB (Hons) Law programme covers the seven foundations of legal knowledge. The syllabus is focused on the laws of England and Wales, but it also includes relevant global issues. This LLB course is designed exclusively for graduate entrants.
