The educational program for the preparation of a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) has a scientific and pedagogical orientation, the purpose of which is fundamental, educational, methodological, and research training and in-depth study of the disciplines of legal sciences for the system of higher and postgraduate education and the scientific sphere in the direction of "Jurisprudence" that meet the requirements of employers.

The modular educational program was developed taking into account the needs of the regional labor market based on the State Educational Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the direction of training - "Jurisprudence" (academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Doctor of Law). The list of disciplines of the optional component is determined by the university independently following requests from doctoral students, employers, and the labor market needs. Doctoral studies - postgraduate education, educational programs of which are aimed at training personnel for scientific, pedagogical, and (or) professional activities with the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Doctor of Law (by profile).
