The Bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science takes four years and four months. It consists of a total of seventy-two (72) subjects, which accumulate two hundred and fourteen credits (214). The curricular structure of the Bachelor's Degree in Law and Political Science is designed to train the modern lawyer who can face the challenges of the future. This professional has a solid base of knowledge and legal practice, not exclusively in Panamanian law, but in international law, in its public and private aspects.

He will have knowledge of the most relevant aspects of the legislation, doctrine, and jurisprudence related to his subject. You will know different technological tools that allow the efficient management of the specialist. Identify different public or private entities, national or international, that are directly or indirectly linked to the development of policies and/or laws that impact commercial activity in their different areas and with it the management of the specialist. Recognize current trends in the different topics covered by the specialty.

Develop a highly trained staff to participate in the planning, organization, execution, supervision, and control of the maritime, port, and coastal projects. Encourage professionals with an open disposition to participate in the development and/or improvement of new methods and techniques that tend to increase the productivity and quality of maintenance, operation, and administration of Maritime, Port, and Coastal works. Stimulate in students a deep interest in the development of Maritime Law in our country. Provide guidance on the importance of the existence of the Panama Canal within the maritime world.

Our Specialization in Legal Management, is a postgraduate course of 60 hours taught in Panama, provides management tools for the management of firms and legal departments. It is aimed at associates of firms who aspire to be Partners, at Partners who want to know current trends in firm management, Legal Managers, or those who are in charge of In-House Legal Departments and for Firm Administrators and legal office administration personnel. It addresses issues related to internal management, both financial and human, as well as external to clients, applying marketing tools, talent management, and management for proper management.
